If you are looking for a new way to earn extra money without leaving home.
There is a way!
There are loads of survey sites out there and numbers of people making hundreds of dollars each month.
Here are some helpful tips to consider before signing up.
Tips for Taking a Survey
- Free to join
The survey sites are free to join and they pay on time. If you are asked to pay to sign up, more than likely it is a scam. The survey companies are looking for people to complete surveys and pay them and not the other way around.
- Be honest
Be honest when answering questions. Don’t lie to be accepted to take a survey. You can be disqualified from taking surveys if they find out that you are lying. It is important to remember that the purpose of a survey is to conduct market research.
- Get a separate email address
Please get a separate email address. I made the mistake of using my regular email address and I was bombarded with multiple emails daily. When you decide to join multiple survey sites, you will receive lots of emails in a day. A dedicated email will give you the chance to check your emails and not miss any survey opportunity.
- Signup for multiple survey sites
I recommend signing up for multiple survey sites. You will improve your chances of getting one to two surveys from each site every day. If you try out a site and you don’t like it, try another one. The list is in no particular order.
1. Swagbucks
This is my favorite site because there are multiple ways to earn rewards. I have received tons of gift cards with little effort. You can earn money by taking surveys, watching videos, online searches, playing games and more. You will also randomly earn points, referred to as SB (Swagbucks).
You will receive $5 for signing up and taking your first survey.
2. Inbox Dollars
InboxDollars gives you a $5 registration bonus. You earn money for taking surveys, watching videos, playing games, making purchases online, surfing the web and much more. The site is very easy to navigate. You will be able to cash out once you get to $30.

4. Survey Junkie
What I like most about Survey Junkie is that you will know by the first two questions if you are eligible for that survey. You will also know how long and how much you will receive for a survey. Skip the survey if it does not pay well. There are plenty to choose from, and they update the site regularly.

5. PrizeRebel
PrizeRebel offers points for completing surveys, watching videos, offer walls, and referring a friend. The good thing about PrizeRebel is that you will know how many points you will receive and how long it will take for each survey. An easy way to earn more points other than completing task, is to refer your friends. The payout is $5, which you redeem for cash or gift cards.

Things to consider
- Never pay money to sign up for a survey site. If you are asked to pay, run from that site.
- To increase your chances of making more money, signup with multiple survey companies.
- If a survey site has a referral program, be sure to invite your friends. Social media is a great way to reach as many people in your circle.
Closing thoughts
Remember that you cannot make a full time income completing surveys. When you are free with nothing to do, take a few minutes to complete as many surveys as possible. This will add a few hundred dollars in your pocket.
Please let me know if there are surveys sites that you use that are not included in this list.

That’s a great idea, completing surveys in your spare time. I could use a few hundred dollars.
Thanks

I have had more success with Swagbucks. I used money from Swagbucks to purchase Christmas gifts one year.
