To make extra money, look around your house for:
- Gently used clothes and shoes
- Old cell phones
Some people think that no one will buy their gently used items, but that is not the case. They say one man’s junk gently used item is another man’s treasure.
There are many ways to sell your things:
- Facebook Market Place
I have sold on eBay and Craigslist.
3. Become a Virtual Assistant
A virtual Assistant job is not seasonal. It is a job that can earn you extra money all year. A virtual assistant is the same as an Administrative Assistant that works online.

4. Become an Uber or Lyft driver
Spending your spare time driving others around can be an excellent way to make money. This increases the number of requests for rides and results in the opportunity to make extra money. The Driver sets their schedule by working as much as they want or as little as possible.

It’s up to you to decide your work schedule. With Uber Eats, you can deliver with a car, scooter or bike. However, the rules in your city determine which mode of transportation you can use.
6. Take surveys
The surveys are free to join. It is best to join as many survey companies as possible to increase your chances of taking more surveys and increasing the amount of money you make. There are many legitimate survey sites out there but beware of scams.
Here are some of the highest paid survey sites to make money that I use:
Swagbucks: This is my favorite site because there are multiple ways to earn rewards.
